Restyled: Deep V Romper + Fringe Cardigan

Last summer I wore this red fluttery deep-v romper in an evening photoshoot with Lauren. I wore it with a sticky bra since it is low cut in the front and low in the back as well. Later on last summer I wore it again but to make it more casual I wore a white lace bodysuit underneath and a fringed oversized cardigan and I loved how it looked so I made a mental note that I would need to wear it again the next summer (this summer) and take photos. So I did! Romper: Vici | Cardigan: New York & Company | Bodysuit: Express | Sandals: Vici All the…

    Green Pompom Fringe

Pompoms are so fun and I always think they’re such a fun style detail whether it’s on a sweater, sandals, a tote, etc. While they are a fashion detail that I like, they can be tricky to wear to work, but this olive green sweater with pompom fringe is totally wearable for work. Sweater: LOFT | Pants: Uniqlo | Shoes: Anne Klein | Watch: Caravelle by Bulova What makes this sweater so wearable for work? I think the key is that the pompoms are small. I love big pompoms, but those wouldn’t really be appropriate for work as they’re more fun than professional. Since these pompoms are small and just…

    Restyled: Lace Kimono

Did you guys watch last night’s Game of Thrones season finale?! So many things to talk about! But you’ll have to wait for my thoughts on the season in tomorrow’s post so I can compose all my thoughts. Plus it gives the people who didn’t get to watch it on time a chance to watch before they accidentally read my spoilers! For today’s post though, I’m sharing my restyling of this lace kimono that I first wore on here 2 years ago. In that post I wore this fringed lace kimono with a floral romper and I absolutely loved that pairing. But this time I wore it with denim shorts…

    Fringed Striped Hoodie

Since I’m off from work until the new year I’m taking advantage of all the days I can wear whatever I want instead of work clothes! This fringed striped hoodie, however, is a sweater I wore earlier in the month but it’s just the kind of casual attire I’m wearing lots of this week. Sweater: Nordstrom Rack | Jeans: Express This lightweight knit sweater has a black, pink, purple stripe design and matching fringe for some added flair. The stripes and fringe would make this sweater cool enough, but add in a hood and the casual factor goes up even more making it an even cooler piece for my casual day. I…

    Floral Fringed Kimono

Combine the color teal, a floral print, and fringe – roll them all into one kimono and that’s basically how I was immediately sold on this kimono. The print is so pretty and the color combination works so well together. Kimono: Just Lex Boutique | Romper: H&M Fringe detailing is so fun and I love that the fringe here is a bit different than your normal style because it has a kind of net detail to it. I chose to pair this floral fringed kimono with a deeper colored romper. This maroon romper from H&M has a space-dye look to the material and is a nice, casual, soft cotton romper. I chose it…

    Asymmetrical Fringed Cardigan

I love cardigans. I love fringe. I love…well, I don’t love asymmetrical items but I don’t hate them. Let’s say, I like some asymmetrical pieces such as this American Eagle  Asymmetrical Fringed Cardigan that I wore a few weeks ago. The print is somewhat of a mix of aztec and geometric and I really enjoy the color scheme. A nice, wearable beige, white and black for casual wear. As you can sort of see in the last photo, the cardigan gradually gets longer from the back, forward. The back of the cardigan hits around the hip. I didn’t get a good picture of the back of the cardigan, unfortunately. I was having…

    Wild & Free

With the summer season dying down and real fall weather just around the corner, I’m feeling nostalgic. Summer has a way of making people feel energized, wild, and free. Of course, my fringe top says “Wild and Free” hence the post title and it’s complete with arrows. With the hazy days of summer fading away, I’m continuing to take advantage of the nice weather before the cold moves in. I’m also continuing to embrace the bohemian look with all this fringe. Just a heads up, I have some more fringe looks to share on the blog in the near future! And more warm weather looks archived to make me feel…

    All About That Fringe

Hi all, just a short post for you today. Yesterday, I spent the afternoon walking around the harbor in Toronto. I did so, in this lace and fringe kimono. I’m on a total fringe kick which is perfect since it’s a big trend right now. Kimono: Aerie  Jeans: Wallflower via Kohls Tank Top: The Limited Sunglasses: Kate Spade I’m really enjoying this bohemian look this summer. It’s so carefree yet stylish, which has been really travel friendly for me! The rest of my day consisted of a lot of food and family. Today’s my last real day in Toronto before I head home tomorrow. I hope you all had a good…
