Green Pompom Fringe

Pompoms are so fun and I always think they’re such a fun style detail whether it’s on a sweater, sandals, a tote, etc. While they are a fashion detail that I like, they can be tricky to wear to work, but this olive green sweater with pompom fringe is totally wearable for work.

What makes this sweater so wearable for work? I think the key is that the pompoms are small. I love big pompoms, but those wouldn’t really be appropriate for work as they’re more fun than professional. Since these pompoms are small and just on the hemline and ends of the sleeves they’re not distracting or loud. These pompoms serve more like a fringe detailing and give off a retro feel.

I got a lot of compliments on this sweater at work recently and I was pleasantly surprised. I mean, I love the sweater, but it’s one of those sweaters where you’re not really sure how other people will receive it. I was happy to find so many people loved it too!
