Eyelet Ruffle Sweater
Normally when you think of eyelet, you think of summer, lightweight fabrics. Almost lace-y. So when I saw this cozy soft sweater with eyelet detailing in the body and vertical ruffles down the sides, I thought it was so pretty! Sweater: Red Dress Boutique (here) | Pants: Uniqlo | Shoes: Steve Madden via DSW (here) | Bracelet: Pandora The sweater is so soft and perfect for winter. Since it is eyelet, you do need to wear a layer underneath, so I have a white tank top on underneath here. I paired the sweater with plum colored stretch cords and my Pandora bracelet. I finished off the look with my pink…

Red Ditsy Floral
If you’re like me you might be wondering what a ditsy print is. So I looked it up and a ditsy print means a scattered print. Maybe that’s where they got the term for a ditsy person? Because they’re scatterbrained? Anyway, I thought this white short sleeve top with a red ditsy floral print and ruffle sleeves was really cute. It’s perfect to dress down with jeans or make work appropriate with black pants like I did here. Top: Sonoma Goods for Life via Kohl’s (here) | Pants: Old Navy (here) | Shoes: Target I wore this to work yesterday and was comfortable all day. If I wore this with…

Restyled: Pink Ruffle +White Faux Stone Earrings
Last Monday I wore this pink ruffle top to work with marled style dress pants and white faux stone c-shaped earrings. I got a ton of compliments on my outfit – way more than I had expected which was nice. But the best part? My top feels like a sweatshirt! So I basically got complimented on how nice my outfit was and I was comfortable like I was in loungewear. The last time I wore this pink ruffle top on the blog I dressed it down with jeans and floral espadrille flats. This time, like I mentioned above, I wore it to work with dress pants and earrings. By the…

Mini Pompom Trim Dress
Good morning from Baltimore! My family and I went for a short overnight trip to visit and eat crabs – blue claw crabs are my fav! I’ll talk about my visit in a future post, but for today I’m throwing it back to last weekend when I went to my good friend’s daughter’s 1st birthday party. It was an outdoor/pool party so I wanted something comfortable to wear that was still cute and I could easily wear over my bathing suit if I chose to wear my bathing suit under my clothes for the drive home from Pennsylvania. I decided to wear this green dress with ruffles, a flounce skirt…

Sheer Ruffle Dot
My work/school year may be over for summer but I still have one or two more outfits that I wore to work to share with you. The first one up is this sheer ruffle dot top. The body is black, but the yoke and sleeves are sheer with a white dot design. There is a little ruffle detailing at the shoulders, but other than that the top is pretty simple. The sheer ruffle dot design is what makes this top different and fun, but still classic. I wore white pants with the top to lighten the look and bring out the white dots on the top. Top: LOFT | Pants:…

Floral & Ruffle Button Down
When I want to Forever 21 to exchange some Christmas presents that didn’t fit I bought three things: the floral pinstripe button down I wore (here), the gold leaf headband I wore (here), and finally this floral & ruffle button down. I love the sweet floral design, but the cute ruffle across the top is what sold me on it. Top: Forever 21 | Pants: American Eagle | Shoes: Simply Vera via Kohl’s I think the ruffle is the sweetest detail since it is so dainty. I paired the button down with wine colored pants and my block heel slides. It was an effortless look that looked really put together…

French Knot Mustard Blouse
I love mustard yellow and, for me, it’s not just a fall color. I will wear it whenever! This mustard blouse is so cute with it’s bell sleeves and ruffle detail, but mostly because of it’s french knot detailing in the form of tiny little flowers. The detailing is so beautiful. Top: Banana Republic | Pants: Old Navy | Watch: Fossil I love the look of my gold watch against the mustard yellow. How pretty is the delicate stitching? So pretty! And how sweet are the little ruffle details on the sleeves? So sweet! Have a great Wednesday!

Yellow Floral Shift Dress
Today I’m sharing this gorgeous yellow floral dress I got from ASOS earlier in the fall. I was going to wear it to my fall photoshoot (see look #1 here) but then I changed my mind because I thought it would be tricky to change in/out of in my car. The yellow is so bright and cheery – I love it! The all-over floral print is so pretty and there are ruffle details at the shoulder too. Dress: Vero Moda via ASOS | Watch: Kate Spade | Boots: DSW When I wore this dress to work last month it was still warm enough that I could go bare legged, so…

Ruffle Front Tie OTS
How is it Monday already? The weekend went by way too fast! If you’ve been following me for a while you’ll know that off-the-shoulder tops was one of my favorite trends this year as I wore the look quite often. I’ve got what I think is my last OTS top of the season (but never say never). There will be some more cold shoulder looks with the mild weather but I think I might be done with OTS until next year! Top: Express | Shorts: Express | Sandals: DSW This teal off-the-shoulder top is so pretty with the large ruffle layer and front tie. It’s so comfortable and lightweight for those…

Flutter Back Romper
It might officially be fall now but it’s still summer weather here. It’s not out of the ordinary for it to still be warm this time of year, but not this warm – at least not that I can remember. It’s going to be close to 90 tomorrow! So keeping that in mind I’ll continue on with my warm weather looks. Today I’m sharing this romper with a flutter back. I wore a lace bodysuit underneath, paired the romper with summery Old Navy flip flops, Michael Kors crossbody bag and Quay Australia sunglasses and was good to go! Romper: LOFT | Flip Flops: Old Navy | Sunglasses: Quay Australia | Purse:…
