Flutter Back Romper

It might officially be fall now but it’s still summer weather here. It’s not out of the ordinary for it to still be warm this time of year, but not this warm – at least not that I can remember. It’s going to be close to 90 tomorrow! So keeping that in mind I’ll continue on with my warm weather looks. Today I’m sharing this romper with a flutter back. I wore a lace bodysuit underneath, paired the romper with summery Old Navy flip flops, Michael Kors crossbody bag and Quay Australia sunglasses and was good to go!

This romper is so comfortable and has a soft, gauzy-like material. I love the ruffle-y flutter back to this romper. It ties at the back of the neck and has tassle details. The back actually goes down lower than what is shown in my photos above, but it was a little too low/open/wide for me so I pinned it which made the open back less loose and not dip down so low.

This may be a romper (and the item at LOFT may be called “beach floral flutter back romper”) but the print and colors look perfect for the transition to fall in my opinion! Of course when it gets a little cooler (but not too cool that you can’t wear shorts) you could wear a cardigan or sweater with this but then you’d miss out on the beautiful back. Luckily there’s still some time to wear summery clothes here with these warm temps we’re having.
