Jacquard Cropped Pants

Happy Friday! If you’re a regular follower of Life According to Jamie you may be wondering why I’m not posting a photo challenge response post today. The Daily Post took the week off last week from posting challenges so although they did post one this week, I always post mine a week behind. This is because they post their new weekly photo challenges on Wednesdays and I’ve gotten in the habit of posting my responses on Fridays and most times 2 days isn’t enough time for me to get a proper photo for the challenge. So my photo challenge Friday posts will pick back up next week!

Well, after that long winded explanation of why I’m not posting a photo challenge response today let’s get to today’s post. I’m talking about these light purple jacquard cropped pants today. They are so comfortable, stretchy, and have a pretty design/texture!

I wore this outfit to dinner at The Watermark Restaurant when I was in Niagara Falls. I knew I wanted to bring these pretty pants with me when I was packing for my trip so I just had to decide what to wear them with. I thought this short floral kimono from Express from a few years ago would go really nicely with it and wore a plain white tank top underneath. I’m so happy I picked these pants up because they’re so different than any pants I own with its jacquard design which makes me think of lace. They’re stretchy, comfortable and a pretty color too!
