Product Spotlight: L’Oreal Youth Code Texture Perfector

youthcode texture A few weeks ago I wrote about cutting down on products when traveling to save time and space and highlighted Olay 4-in-1 Daily Facial Cloths. Now I’m telling you, in my opinion, there are certain items that shouldn’t be skimped on even when traveling. Today’s spotlight is on the L’Oreal Youth Code Texture Perfector Serum Concentrate.

Back in the fall I started to break out. I never had flawless skin by any means, but my skin wasn’t bad. A pimple here and there, but not a real problem. All of a sudden my skin started freaking out. It wasn’t a full on break out, but I had at least 1 or 2 pimples constantly. For months. It was terrible and probably caused by stress and of course it didn’t help that the consistent blemishes were just adding to my stress. Vicious cycle! Fortunately, my skin has seriously calmed down and gotten back to normal, but I was left with some post-acne scarring.

L’Oreal Youth Code Texture Perfector has been a great addition to my skincare routine to help even out my skin tone and slowly fade the marks. This is the type of product that needs to be used consistently in order to see results. It’s not exactly “travel friendly” as it’s a glass bottle, but it’s small enough to fit in my toiletry bag and it definitely worth packing! I feel like it’s the type of product that it’s ok to miss a day or two here and there, but you don’t want to stop using it for a prolonged period of time or else you’d really be hindering the progress you’re making with your skin. All in all it’s definitely a staple in my skincare routine now and a definite essential even when traveling.
