Feeling Beautiful Cucumber Facial Peel-Off Mask

Freeman Feeling Beautiful Cucumber Facial Peel-Off Mask is a mouthful for sure. I’ve been wanting to try peel-off masks for a while now. There’s just something about the idea of peeling off a mask that makes me really feel like my face and pores are getting really clean. I feel the same way about the Biore nose strips – it might hurt a little bit when you’re peeling, but the feeling is so satisfying! Anybody else feel that way?

Anyway, I’ve been wanting to try a peel-off mask and while I do fully intend to try a fancier one like a Boscia one someday, I saw this one on the Ulta website over the summer and for $3.99 had to try it!

The description of the product is: A super-cooling, skin-quenching mask that gently peels away impurities that can cause skin to be rough and dull. Contains Cucumber Extract and Aloe to soothe while moisturizing, ensuring skin feels soft and silky-smooth after every use. Perfect for normal to combination skin.

The tube offers a generous amount of product so I think it’s going to last me a long time. I’ve used it a handful of times since I got it over the summer. I’ve only used it when I’ve been completely blemish free because the thought of pulling this off my skin while I have a pimple or something is slightly terrifying. The mask is gel-like, thick and clear. It’s a little hard to spread over your skin because it is extremely sticky so when you’re trying to spread it, it sorta drags across your skin. Once I’ve got it all over my face, I wait for about 15-20 minutes and read, watch TV, or whatever while I wait. By this time the mask is completely dry on your face and your face feels pretty stiff. If you look in the mirror, your face looks like it’s got a clear super shiny coating all over it. Next, you start picking at the edges to peel the mask off. I’m still working on trying to get the whole thing off my face in one piece, but so far I’m still only getting pieces or patches off at a time. It reminds me of when you’re little and you put glue all over your hands just to peel it off.

I’m not sure about long-term benefits of this mask, but I do feel like my skin is nice and refreshed when I use it. It’s definitely something I plan to keep in my skincare rotation!
