If you’ve been following me for a while then you know I am a fan of Volition Beauty and for over a year they’ve been kind enough to send me some products to try out. The newest is the Rose of Jericho Renewing Elixir.
The Rose of Jericho is known as the Resurrection Plant, which sounds pretty cool to me. Using the resilience of the plant, the elixir ” helps to re-energize and assist in the acceleration of skin’s cell renewal process. Naturally retaining moisture and springing back to life from its once dried out state, its the most effective skin care ingredient that you’ve never heard of.” It’s also described as a product that will, “Spring skin back to life. In this powerful serum, Peptides boost skin essentials, Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid, for a smoother complexion. A blend of rich oils, including Rosehip, Jojoba, Camellia, and Myrrh soothe and nourish.”
It claims to:
- minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
- improves dullness and uneven skin texture
- hydrates and evens skin tone
I’ve been using the elixir for about a week now and so far I’m really liking it. I’m used to serums that are thinner and more translucent whereas this one is more milky and thick. I think the thicker texture will help lock in moisture for the winter months!
Also, I have to give a shoutout to the packaging, because Volition always has top notch packaging with glass bottles and innovative droppers. It’s the same kind of bottle as their Snow Mushroom Serum and I love it. Twisting the cap off automatically pulls up product in to the dropper and pops the top up so when you push down it dispenses. So cool! Anyway, like I said I am liking it so far and I’m looking forward to seeing how hydrated it keeps my skin during these cold months.
