Today, I have an easy dessert for you that looks a lot fancier than it is. I made dessert with puff pastry on two recent nights, two different ways.
The first night, I had fresh strawberries on hand so I decided to make some whipped cream from scratch and fill the puff pastry with cream and sliced strawberries. So yummy!
The second night, I had left over puff pastry, but no more whipped cream or strawberries. So what did I do? I filled it with ice cream!
The desserts were something different from the norm and so good! I also didn’t feel guilty indulging since I cut the squares fairly small. Both desserts were delicious and I can’t decide which I liked better. Good thing I don’t have to decide!
