Peep-Toe Booties for Fall

It’s just about mid-October (what?!) and fall weather is definitely upon us. Except for the random extremely warm weather days that occur out of nowhere, we have started to settle into crisper weather. I love ankle booties anytime of the year, but they are especially popular in the fall. It’s just the right time of year to wear them. It’s too cool for sandals and perhaps you don’t want to break out the knee-high or over-the-knee boots just yet. Or maybe you just want to go for a different look than high boots. Booties are perfect and peep-toe booties? Even better for the seasonal transition.

I have 2 pairs of booties to show off today. Both pairs I got earlier this year.

First up are these brown and cream wedge booties.

These Blowfish wedge booties via DSW are extremely comfortable and super cute. They zip on the side and also have an adjustable strap, though I think that’s more for decoration than actual function. The speckled design is really cute and something different. I’ve worn these wedge booties to work too and the comfort level is top notch. I got these back in the spring and sadly they’re not available anymore!

The second pair are these black peep-toe booties from LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s.

I love these shoes. They can be dressed up or down with ease. I’ve worn these with jeans and to work and they work effortlessly either way. Like the Blowfish wedge booties above, they are very comfortable and I have no complaints about them even after wearing them through a 9 hour work day. I love the whole look and design of these and the chunky heel is right on trend. These I bought at the beginning of September on sale and they are still currently available! At this moment, they are on sale for half off!

I seriously love both pairs and am so glad I have them. They are going to be serious staples in my looks this fall until it is too cold for my toes to be showing!
