Embroidered Olive Green Dress
You all know green is my all-time favorite color but olive green is my favorite for fall. It’s the perfect fall color. It’s not as bright as mint or kelly green and has that darker, muted color. It’s also not as rich as emerald green so it’s that perfect in-between/transition color. And to top it off it goes amazingly well with creams and browns which I always associate with fall. Peep-Toe Booties for Fall
It’s just about mid-October (what?!) and fall weather is definitely upon us. Except for the random extremely warm weather days that occur out of nowhere, we have started to settle into crisper weather. I love ankle booties anytime of the year, but they are especially popular in the fall. It’s just the right time of year to wear them. It’s too cool for sandals and perhaps you don’t want to break out the knee-high or over-the-knee boots just yet. Or maybe you just want to go for a different look than high boots. Chambray
Chambray became really popular a few years ago. At first, I didn’t think it was for me – maybe it was memories of wearing uncomfortable, rough, denim shirts when I was in elementary school. As the chambray popularity grew, I started to see awesome styles with it and it grew on me. It wasn’t until this fall that I finally found the perfect one for me. Casual Friday: Coral Stripes
Happy Saturday! It’s a 3-day weekend for me, which I’m super excited about. I have been looking forward to this long weekend for a while. This week was especially busy and stressful for me, I’ve got 2 big blemishes to prove it, but I kept up with the posts here because blogging never feels like work to me. Back to School Night OOTD
Back to School Night was last night so I wanted to wear a dress to work. Since I would be at work until about 8:30 PM I wanted to wear a dress that was comfortable to be in all day. I debated wearing open toed nude heels or booties with the dress. It was in the 70s so it would’ve been completely fine to wear the heels, but since we are getting farther into September I do want to try to incorporate more fall pieces into the mix. OOTD: Spirit Week – Class Color Day
Yesterday was “Class Color Day” for Spirit Week at school. Spirit Week is always fun, but I think it is especially nice at my school because the students wear uniforms. It’s nice for them to have fun with their clothes and wear something of their own to school. I teach 2 grades, but since I am the advisor of one of the grades I decided to wear their color which was purple. I wore a purple sweater dress and booties.
