OOTD: Spirit Week – Class Color Day
Yesterday was “Class Color Day” for Spirit Week at school. Spirit Week is always fun, but I think it is especially nice at my school because the students wear uniforms. It’s nice for them to have fun with their clothes and wear something of their own to school. I teach 2 grades, but since I am the advisor of one of the grades I decided to wear their color which was purple.
I wore a purple sweater dress and booties. Sweater dresses are so comfortable and are usually nice enough to wear to work so it worked out perfectly. While sweater dresses are comfy, some are in a tricky way. Some are super fitted which can be too clingy and some are not fitted enough and look too loose which can make you look bigger than you are. Luckily, I think this particular dress fits pretty well.
My dress is Apt. 9 from Kohls from a few years ago and my boots are Crown Vintage Durham Bootie from DSW and are super comfy. I love them! My students love them too because they always ask me when I’m going to wear them again. When I do wear them I usually get a collective “yassssss”. So that was my ootd for class color day!
