Chambray

Chambray became really popular a few years ago. At first, I didn’t think it was for me – maybe it was memories of wearing uncomfortable, rough, denim shirts when I was in elementary school. As the chambray popularity grew, I started to see awesome styles with it and it grew on me. It wasn’t until this fall that I finally found the perfect one for me.

I decided to dress it down for my post-Christmas day ootd with a Christmas graphic tee, burgundy stretch cords, and combat booties.

This chambray shirt is the softest shirt ever. It’s so silky smooth that when I first bought it I couldn’t help but take it out of the shopping bag, run my hands all over it nonstop and telling everyone to feel how soft it is. I’m telling you, it’s that soft.

I wanted to go with a casual, comfortable outfit for the day after Christmas since all I’ve been doing lately is eating! I did some shopping and wanted to be comfortable dealing with the crowds. The mall actually wasn’t too crowded and I got my New Year’s Eve dress, which I’m super excited about and can’t wait to show you!

This chambray shirt is amazing and I can see it being really versatile allowing me to style it in a number of ways. As I’ve mentioned before these booties are love. Last, but not least, these stretch cords are so comfortable and fit perfectly. I love the color too. I will actually be wearing these again for a dressier look tonight and I’m excited to share with you all how I took these pants from a super casual daytime look into a nighttime look.
