Glamping
I hope everyone had a great weekend and that you aren’t all dreading this Monday too much! Today, I’ve got a little collage/set for you of a few pictures of glamping. If you don’t know what glamping is, it is glamorous camping. Glam + Camping = Glamping!

I’m going to start this off by telling you all, in case you didn’t already know, I hate camping. I am one of those people who just cannot “rough it”. This isn’t to say I hate nature though. I’m all for spending a day outside somewhere picturesque or going for a hike. But I cannot spend the night outside. Sleeping on the lumpy, hard ground? Being surrounded by dirt, bugs, and wild animals? No thank you.

The only way I could possibly be persuaded to spend the night outdoors is if I were to go glamping. Glamping looks so fun and bohemian. You’re still spending the night outside, somewhat in the elements, just with more amenities and in style! Many of the glamping pictures I’ve seen consist of a large tent, a bed, some other small pieces of furniture, and some sort of lighting. I’d still be outside, but at least I would be somewhat more comfortable. However, if you want to see real luxurious glamping then you need to check out the post The Luxe Lookbook posted back a few months ago. She wrote up a post featuring some places around the world that offer the most amazing glamping experiences you can think of! She details a few such as an extravagant one in the Atlas Mountains where the tent looks like a luxury suite! Another in South Africa is more rustic, but still exudes a plush outdoors experience. There are even glamping sites in the United States! Obviously the fancier the place, the more expensive the rates are. They range from a few hundred dollars a night to thousands! Definitely check out the post at The Luxe Lookbook to see these jaw droppingly beautiful “camp” sites. Seriously, some of these places are so fancy they make the pictures I posted above look like the cheap motel version of glamping!

I’d definitely give it a go Jamie, as long as it’s not freezing cold & wet I’m definitely for trying something new! Shall add it to the bucket list 😀 lol x
