Christmas Look-Book
I hope all of you who celebrated had a wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas! Over the past week, I’ve worn a fair number of Christmas-themed attire that I wanted to share on here so instead of breaking them up into numerous posts, I decided to create a Christmas themed look-book.
1. Cheesy Christmas Sweater
Traditionally, the last day of work before winter break the staff are encouraged to wear cheesy Christmas sweaters. I made my own last year, but this year I decided to wear a Christmas sweater that I bought a few years ago. It’s more cute than ugly, but I find it’s really hard to find ones that are actually ugly.
2. Christmas Swing Dress
Last weekend, my friend had a Christmas party at his apartment in the city. Of course, I had to wear this swing dress with Christmas trees all over it that I got from Just Lex Boutique via Instagram. The dress fit perfectly and was so fun and festive!
I wore my Chinese Laundry over-the-knee boots with the dress, my Tory Burch studs, and my Rebecca Minkoff purse.
3. Elfie Selfie
On Christmas Eve, I was head to toe decked out for the holiday. I wore my Elfie Selfie sweater from H&M featuring an adorable sequined elf outfit. I paired it with Christmas sweater leggings from American Eagle that have Christmas trees, reindeers, snowflakes and candy canes. The sweater is a wool blend and when I first tried it on it was so itchy, but I just wore a thin longsleeve tee underneath and I was good to go. The weather may have been t-shirt weather outside (so tired of this El Nino weather!) but I was determined to wear this outfit no matter what.
4. Christmas Tee
To round out my Christmas themed look-book I have my very casual and simple outfit I wore yesterday for Christmas. I went for a very comfy look with LC Lauren Conrad space dye leggings, a maroon Christmas themed top, and a marl waffle stitch cardigan both from Express.
That wraps up my Christmas look-book! I’m not done with holiday themed things though just yet. I’m going to Holiday in the Park at Six Flags today and I have Secret Santa with friends next weekend. Stretching out the holidays is totally fine by me!
