Happy Easter! I hope all of you who celebrate have a wonderful and hopefully sunny day while celebrating with friends and/or family.
It’s been a while since I’ve done any sort of face of the day (fotd) post. Back in my first year of blogging, I used to share the makeup products I was wearing on a weekly basis, but I stopped doing that because it was getting to be super repetitive. So I thought I’d share a simple look I wore the other day just because 3 of the main products I used were from Urban Decay. It’s not a one-brand look because I don’t own an Urban Decay foundation or brow product, but the majority of the products are from the brand hence the title.
I used the UD Gwen Stefani eyeshadow palette, the Urban Decay Naked Flushed in “Naked”, and the Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in “Streak”. The palette is filled with incredible wearable shades with some pops of fun colors. As with most Urban Decay shadows, the shades are pigmented and easy to work with. I’ve had the Naked Flushed palette for a couple years now and it’s perfect for traveling since the bronzer, highlight, and blush are all packed into one convenient package. I definitely want to get it in another shade. The lipstick in “Streak” is a coral pink color and its moisturizing and comfortable to wear.
Since the shirt I was wearing on that particular day had gold studs all over the front, I used a mix of the creams and browns for my eyes with a little of the green gold dabbed in the center of my eyelids. I went lightly with the cheek products because this was just for a normal work day and I usually go with an easy, natural look for work.
In case you’re wondering, the rest of my makeup consisted of BareMinerals bareSkin serum foundation (review here), Too Faced Better than Sex mascara, and IT Cosmetics Brow Perfector.
Hope you guys all enjoyed this post and maybe I’ll do the occasional fotd post!
