Trend: Necktie Blouse

Necktie blouses are a big fashion trend right now and I am an enthusiastic supporter. I’ve even recently worn one myself for Thanksgiving which I posted about (here). I love that blouse! Anyway, because of my love for the trend I knew I had to take part in the necktie blouse style challenge on Polyvore.

I decided to go with this white blouse with black necktie and light pink collar for a little pop of color. I paired it with light pink pants to match the collar and I love the gold zip pockets. To match the bold black necktie, I chose black heels. I love the bow detail at the ankle straps on these heels. So sophisticated! To round out the look I chose a black Michael Kors satchel, which has some gold hardware, but nothing over the top in the detailing. It’s just seen in the logo, medallion, and little metal pieces by the handles. The little gold details in the bag are perfect to go with the gold details in the pants.

I feel like this is one of those outfits that you can’t help but feel confident and stylish wearing!
