Peplum Cami

I can’t believe I only have 2 [week] days left to my summer break! It really passed by in the blink of an eye. I’m having a hard time accepting this fact and I think I’m in denial that I go back to work for a week of workshops bright and early Monday.

But let’s go back to earlier this month when I was still in the midst of summer bliss. I wore this peplum camisole tank top with jean shorts and turquoise flip flops. It was one of those items that you’re immediately drawn to on the rack and you pick up without a thought.

I love the way the yellow pops off the turquoise. It almost looks fake and that I somehow photoshopped it on! Don’t worry, I didn’t – I don’t know how to do that. You might have noticed the gold heart on the inside of my wrist. I’ve been having a ball with Flash Tattoos this summer and I plan to round up photos of the ones I’ve worn in the past few weeks in an upcoming blog post. I’m having so much fun wearing them, I think I might continue even during the school year and just place them strategically so they’re not noticeable. Just something fun for myself! Anyway, enough about that because I will gush about them in an upcoming post.

This peplum cami is so cute and something different from the normal tank top. The jean shorts kept it casual for my afternoon outing, but you can dress it up with skinny jeans or black jeans and wedges or heels.
