MAC Snow Ball

It’s that time of year again where beauty brands are pumping out their holiday collections. Holiday packaging and sets are usually really beautiful and/or cute and fun and hard to resist. I wrote about this last year, I think, but I used to spend so much money on holiday sets and while I still like to indulge and treat myself to some holiday beauty pieces, I have really cut back in the past 2 years. When MAC released images of their Snow Ball holiday collection I knew I wanted to definitely get something from it and one of those things had to be one of the powders because the snowflake embossing was so pretty!

I picked out 2 things from the collection – the face powder in “Happy Go Dazzingly” for a highlight and the mini lipgloss set in the nude shades.

I love the gold packaging! The little gold mirrored pouch for the lip glosses is so cute and I love the glittery ball on the zipper. The compact for the powder is so pretty and I am in love with the snowflake embossing! The gold glittery compact is smooth and I think it would’ve been cool if it actually had some texture.

For the below photos, I wore Happily Go Dazzingly on the tops of my cheekbones as a highlight and the lightest lip shade “Below Freezing” to work.

I’m really happy with my two picks from the Snow Ball collection! Have you gotten anything from the collection?
