Today is the launch of the new Warby Parker Resort Collection!
I remember when I first heard of Warby Parker. It was around the time they were founded and they had made quite the name for themselves. I was fresh out of college and my friend was interning in the city (New York City). We had gotten together to catch up over coffee and she told me that she spent her lunch break at one of the Warby Parker stores trying on glasses and picking out a pair she’d want to treat herself to after getting her paycheck. Warby Parker is founded on the idea that glasses should be affordable and that you shouldn’t have to sacrifice style for an affordable pair of glasses. They also have an amazing program to give back. With every pair of glasses sold, a pair are given to someone in need. How amazing is that?!
I’ve admired Warby Parker for so long, so helping them announce their newest collection was too cool to pass up!
The Resort Collection has a variety of new minimalistic new eyeglasses and sleek new sunglasses all very classic and wearable.
I’ve picked out a few of my favorites to share with you. I love these “Archer” glasses with the classic black frames.
These “Wren” glasses are so different with the printed, marbled design. They are like tortoise shell, but the cream color gives it a different look.
For sunglasses, I’m loving the gold bridge and trim to the “Avery”.
The “Wyatt” sunnies are similar with the gold bridge but with a dark brown frame and slightly different shape. I’m not sure which I like better!
For the classic tortoise shell look, I like these also from the “Avery” line. I styled a look on Polyvore to go with these sunnies!
I thought these sunnies would look great with the above look: a camel colored double breasted pea coat, distressed black jeans, a hat, cream turtleneck, clutch, and camel booties. How great would the tortoise shell sunglasses look with this outfit? I think they’d go perfectly!
Thanks to Warby Parker for giving me a glimpse of the new collection! Don’t forget the Resort Collection launches today, so check it out!
