ColorProof PowderFix Texturizing Spray

I always enjoy styling my hair, but in the simplest ways possible because I’m no hair expert. For reference, my hair is pretty soft and silky but also fine. I don’t have thin hair, but it is fine so it’s not naturally very voluminous. On weekdays when I’m in a rush to go to work, I’ll achieve some volume by blowdrying my hair upside down with a round brush. But by the end of the night my hair’s usually a bit flat. Enter the ColorProof PowderFix Texturizing Powder Spray. When this powder spray was sent to me and I read that it energizes your hair and delivers long-lasting volume, I had to try it!

I recently tried out the product when I was curling my hair before going out to dinner one night. I sprayed it in to my roots, and I love that it’s a powder that puffs out because sprays tend to end up getting sticky or makes your hair crunchy no matter how lightweight they are. Even when it’s just those few stray strands that are hard – so annoying! Anyway, this powder doesn’t do that.

I sprayed it around my roots and worked it in to my scalp. It feels like dry shampoo and other texturizing products that give your hair that texture/dirty feel, but the dirty like you can style it not dirty like you need to was your hair. The powder didn’t linger in my hair once I massaged it in and there was no white coloring or anything left over.

I really enjoy the product, but I didn’t notice a lot of volume. I may not have used enough product. But it did give my hair some extra life when I curled it so I still liked the effect. It gave my hair around the crown a little more fullness, but I think I definitely need some more product to get even more volume. I’m looking forward to playing around with it some more!
