Tula Brightening Eye Balm

For months and months I’ve seen people on social media rave about Tula’s Brightening Eye Balm. Maybe you have too. So I really wanted to see if it was worth the hype especially because my eyes are always tired looking when I’m back at work for the school year. However, this eye balm stick is so popular that it is often out of stock! So I waited for a while to get it. Of course, right when I got it Tula launched their new Rose Glow version of the eye balm!

So is it worth all the fuss?

I like the balm and I enjoy the feeling of it, but I want to make sure you’re not misled. It will make your eyes feel more awake and gives a cooling effect under your eyes as well as add a bit of brightness. But, for me, it doesn’t offer that much brightness and doesn’t distract from my dark circles that start to creep up when my concealer starts to wear off which is around the time my eyes are feeling tired. It does brighten a bit, but not as much as I’d hoped.

Here’s how Tula describes the eye balm:
“Our luminous eye balm delivers a lit-from-within glow while instantly hydrating, cooling, and filling in fine lines around the eyes. You’ll feel awake and look energized so you can glow & get it!”

It contains:

• Caffeine: helps to tighten and firm the look of lines & wrinkles
• Aloe, Apple & Watermelon: provide deep hydration to the delicate eye area
• Blueberry: rich in antioxidants, hydrates and protects the skin

So yes, I think the Brightening Eye Balm is good and I love the way it feels under my eyes so I would repurchase just for that. But, if you’re looking for something to really brighten the under eye it may not do that for you. That’s not to say it wouldn’t work for you because I’ve seen multiple people put it on on videos and it definitely looks to brighten their under eye. I think I’m just cursed with dark under eyes haha.
