Finally, I can talk about this vegan leather weekender bag! I got this during Black Friday sales. Why have I waited so long to talk about it? Because I picked up 2 during the same – one in Toasted Almond, which is the one I have, and one in Cognac. I got the cognac one as a White Elephant gift and our party wasn’t until New Year’s Eve. If you missed it, my high school friends and I have been doing Secret Santa since high school and this year we decided to do White Elephant instead. It was just easier than having to buy for 1 specific person plus it makes it easier for people who can either make it or not make it last minute. However, we didn’t want to do gag gifts because we spend around $50 and no one wants a $50 useless gift.
Anyway, I got this bag after hearing people rave about the Sole Society weekend bags for like a year. During Black Friday, they were having a really good sale and I decided to get one for myself. But since it’s a good gift idea (and getting it in cognac makes it more gender neutral in my opinion) I decided to get two.
I brought it along with me on my 2 day trip to Hershey after Christmas and it was the perfect size! I’ll be honest, when I first started packing for my trip I was like oh no I don’t think this is going to be big enough. But it is deceptively more spacious than it looks!
Let me tell you what I fit in this bag.
- 2 pairs of leggings
- 1 quilted pullover
- 1 cropped sweater
- 1 sleeveless top
- 1 long sleeve tee
- toiletry bag
- makeup bag
- makeup brush bag
- flip flops (for the hotel room)
- phone charger
I think that’s all I had in there. Pretty good for a compact weekend bag! And the best part about these chic bag is that it folds down so easily (you can see in the first photo above) so it slides under my bed seamlessly for easy storage.
Top: Abercrombie & Fitch | Jeans: Kohl’s | Boots: UGG (here) | Weekender Bag: Sole Society
Right now there’s only 1 color available in the Lacie Weekender Bag – a really pretty cream & camel combo.
I’m really happy with this purchase and hopefully my White Elephant person likes it too!
