Halo Riding Boots
I never thought it would be so hard to find brown, knee-high boots. Seems pretty basic right? I have been wearing the same brown slouchy boots for a few years and they finally got to the point of needing to be replaced. They served me well for a few years, but now they’re getting too scuffed and starting to peel by the toes. I spent probably over a month looking for brown boots to replace them with. The ones I was seeing didn’t look that nice, were too clunky, were for wide calves (I have pretty skinny legs so regular boots would be fine, but wide would be too big) etc. I saw some boots by Journee, but I haven’t had good experiences with that brand – the shoes are always way too big on me.
Then, finally I found these Halo Riding Boots from Coach and Four! They looked sleek and classic. The color was perfect. They were a bit pricey, but I had DSW Rewards cash to use and honestly, boots are expensive in general. So I bought them and I am so happy I did! They are perfect!
Sweater Dress: H&M | Boots: Coach and Four via DSW (here)
My patterned sweater dress is old – I’ve had it for a few years, but it’s such a good staple to have in the closet. I actually last wore it on the blog with tights and the slouchy brown boots that I just got rid of!
The boots are really comfortable and fit really nicely on me. They’re true to size (I’m wearing a 6), but if you like wearing thicker socks then I would size up. I wore these with thin socks and they fit perfectly. They also fit my calves really well, with no huge gaps so if you have bigger calves these may not wore for you.
I wore this dress and these boots to work earlier in the week, but with tights so I wasn’t showing so much leg! But, how good do these boots look with this dress?!
The boots are originally $199.99 and on sale right now for $159.98. I don’t know how they got that price, but whatever – it’s on sale!
Linking to my exact boots and a few cute sweater dresses since mine is old.
