What I’ve Been Binge Watching

So with the extra time at home I’ve gotten to watch a lot of tv and catch up on things I didn’t have time for before. I’m sure a lot of you are in the same boat as me. I thought I would share what I’ve been binge watching the past two weeks.

Yes, I have two laptops there on the chaise. One is my personal laptop that I was doing blog work and Wattpad writing on and the other is my work laptop where I was working on lessons and Yearbook.

I’m just sharing 4 today. The first two are shows I’ve watched for years, but fell behind on in the past 1-2 years so I’m catching up.

  1. Blue Bloods – I’ve been watching this show on CBS since it started like 9 or 10 years ago but I fell behind last season and never caught up. So I caught up on all of last season on Hulu and now I just need to catch up on the current season, which I have on my DVR. If you don’t know what the show is about, it’s basically a drama about a cop family in New York City. The patriarch played by Tom Selleck is the Chief of Police. He has a daughter who is an Assistant District Attorney, a son who is a detective, and another son who is a sergeant. There are different criminal cases every week and some ongoing storylines as well as family storylines.

  2. Madame Secretary – I have also watched this show from the beginning and fell behind. The show recently ended, I think before the holidays, so I have been catching up on Netflix since I’m a season behind. If you don’t know this show, it’s a political drama. Tea Leoni plays the Secretary of State so it shows the ins and outs of all that that entails as well as her family life.

  3. Tiger King – I think everyone has seen this or at least heard of it! I watched the Netflix docu-series last week and throughout the whole thing I had to remember that these people are real! They’re so crazy and you’re like “this can’t be real!”. If you actually don’t know anything about it, the documentary follows a few zookeepers or owners of exotic animals in the United States. The main one is Joe Exotic. There’s drama, murder plots, and crazy things going on in each part!

  4. Locke & Key – I had heard of this Netflix show back a month or two ago from a few different people, including some students. I heard that it was based on a comic or graphic novel and that it was really good. I started watching it a few days ago and got hooked so I watched all 10 episodes in less than 3 days. I would’ve gotten through it faster, but I didn’t want to watch into the really late hours at night because I would get creeped out. The show follows the 3 Locke children as they start a new life in their father’s hometown after his murder. After their father’s death, their mother moves the family from Seattle to their father’s ancestral home Key House somewhere in the Massachusetts area. The estate is old and kinda creepy. They quickly learn that magical keys are hidden throughout the house and that bad people/beings will do anything to get the keys from them.
