Structured Canvas Crossbody Bag
When I saw this structured canvas crossbody bag and it’s insanely affordable price, I ordered it right away. It’s the perfect light colored bag for spring and summer. When we can actually go somewhere that requires a bag! I love the size of this one and the beige canvas and tan/cognac trim. You can hold it by the hand with the top handle or attach the shoulder strap to make it a shoulder bag or crossbody bag.
Bag: Vici | Top: Old Navy | Jeans: LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s | Shoes: Steve Madden via DSW (here)
I wore the bag with a multicolored striped long sleeve tee, jeans, and my pink quilted slip ons to my parents house last weekend. I think it looks so good with this top and jeans!
I love how the bag is more structured and has a front flap. When people think canvas bags, I think they think of a loose material and more like a “bag”. I like this boxy construction. It makes the bag look more high-end and less boho.
Do you like it better as a handbag or crossbody?
On another topic – if you’ve been keeping up with my quarantine mood saga, yesterday was another off-day. I wrote earlier in the week about being in a funk lately amidst this whole quarantine. I’d been pretty fine for the first month actually and then all of a sudden, my anxiety is crazy, I’m blah, depressed, etc. 2 days ago I felt a little better and more optimistic. But yesterday I was all out of sorts. I can’t even put into words how I felt, but I felt like a weight was sitting on my chest all day. I talked to my oldest friend during my lunch break from teaching from home. She lives in Georgia, but we’ve been friends since we were toddlers and have stayed friends all these years! As soon as I started talking she asked if I was crying, which I wasn’t. But as soon as she asked, it was like a dam burst. I was like ‘Well, I wasn’t, but now I am!” haha. It was nice to get it all out even if I couldn’t really put everything into words. I won’t go into detail about everything that’s weighing on me because I don’t want to bore you, but if you’re feeling weird/off/anxious during this time, feel free to reach out! You’re not alone!
Lots of love!
