Charlotte Tilbury Magic Vanish Color Corrector
I first noticed dark circles under my eyes when I was in college. I distinctly remember I had pulled an all-nighter to memorize like 100 paintings, the artists, the mediums, etc. for my art history class. Side note: I had waited 4 years to take art history because it never fit in my schedule since it had nothing to do with my major or minor and I finally got to take it senior year and absolutely loved it. Anyway, I remember thinking my dark circles were a result of my staying up all night and once I got to catch up on sleep they’d go away. But, they never did. Obviously, my years of dark circles aren’t a result of that 1 night, but it’s when I first really noticed them.
I have used different under eye correctors over the years. I just finished up my Pixi Correction Concentrate so I opened up the corrector that I bought in the last Sephora sale – the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Vanish Color Corrector. I’ve been using this Charlotte Tilbury color corrector for about a week now and wanted to share my thoughts!
The product is very easy to apply and you don’t need to press down hard with your finger in the pot at all. You just have to gently swipe and you’ve got a decent amount on your finger. It’s not very creamy, but still easy enough to use and not dry or anything. It hasn’t been drying on my under eye and is a nice base for color correction before I top it off with concealer and setting powder. I just get some on my middle finger and then gently swipe it under my eyes and pat it in.
Is it worth the $32 price tag? I think only if it’s on sale. It’s a very nice product, but it’s not holy grail status that I would be willing to buy at any price. Definitely worth a try, but maybe wait for it to be on sale!
P.S. I have it in the shade “Fair” but for some reason whenever I link it it comes up in the “Deep” shade. Just fyi!
