#fbf Pretty Sky

Taking photos of pretty skies never comes out as good as it looks in real life. But, last summer the sky was such a vibrant and dreamy blue & pink that it did translate pretty well in a photo. Of course not a perfect representation, but pretty close since it was so vibrant! I remember taking this photo because the colors in the sky looked exactly like the colors in Taylor Swift’s “Lover” album cover which had just come out shortly before I took this photo.

gave me the blues and then purple pink skies

And isn’t it just so pretty to think

This song isn’t from her “Lover” album, but how perfect is that line about the blues and purple pink skies for this photo?

A lot has changed since I took this photo last August. I have moved since then – this photo was taken on the road leading to my old town house. Oh yeah and we’re in the middle of a pandemic and the country is literally on fire! But, I digress.
