Ruffle Cable Knit Sweater

I definitely did not wear this sweater to work yesterday – it was close to 80 degrees! I wore a lightweight dress to work and I was still sweating in the afternoon because the classroom was so hot. I think the temp is supposed to be more seasonable today and more than 20 degrees colder than yesterday, but we’ll see.

Anyway, I had planned to wear this sweater one day this week to work, but when I put it on to take some photos over the weekend I decided to just wear it that day because the double ruffle shoulders seemed a little too extra for work!

I think the double ruffle and pom detailing are so cute. I wore the sweater here with jeans, my black flats with tan piping and since I was on my way out when I took these photos I also had my favorite faux leather tan crossbody bag.

This sweater is so fun and cozy! It’s a nice twist on the classic cable knit style. I’m not sure it will be cold enough to wear it again this year unless we get another round of winter weather, but I’m glad I have it because I’m sure it will be a staple in my closet for years to come.
