Blue Bobble Cable Knit Sweater
I have been so tired this week, but the bright and happy blue in this bobble cable knit sweater helps wake me up. I love the bobble design of the sweater and mixing it with a classic cable knit makes it even more unique. Sweater: LOFT (here) | Jeans: Express | Bracelet: Macy’s This sweater is so easy to dress up or down. I wore it here with jeans and black UGGs, but I also wore it to work a few days ago with black high-waisted ankle pants. Love it! Lastly, I paired this outfit with my crystal pull chain bracelet. I love pull chain bracelets because you can customize…

Mixed Stitch Cable
Today’s my last day of spring break. How a week could go by so quick, I’ll never know. I’m not quite ready to go back to work tomorrow, nor the whirlwind the rest of the school year will be as it always is after spring break. But in any case, I’m sharing this casual look from a few days ago. This sweater has a mixed stitch cable knit making it lightweight and different. I wore a cami underneath, marled leggings, and blush quilted slip ons. Sweater: American Eagle | Leggings: Express | Shoes: Steve Madden via DSW Since the sweater is mixed stitch, the sides have an open knit and…

Golden Yellow Cable Knit
In keeping with the golden theme from yesterday’s gold snowflake sweatshirt, I’m sharing this golden yellow cable knit sweater today. I love the color – it’s this perfect mix of mustard and gold. And the sweater isn’t too thick or heavy, which you guys know by now is a pet peeve of mine. It’s soft and warm, but not heavy. I paired it with a faux suede button down skirt, that I’ve worn multiple times on here before, lace tights, and brown slouchy boots. Sweater: Old Navy | Skirt: Nordstrom Rack | Tights: American Eagle | Boots: DSW | Watch: Fossil I love this sweater with the faux suede skirt,…

Two-Piece Cable Knit Sweater
Did you watch the opening ceremony to the Winter Olympics last night? I love the Olympics! The parade of nations during the opening ceremony always gets me excited for the games. I can’t wait to watch some of the events, especially figure skating and speed skating. It’s definitely a dream of mine to one day be a spectator at an Olympics. But far away from the Winter Olympics in South Korea, I’m writing this blog post on this two-piece cable knit & collared button down sweater. It’s a fake two-piece sweater actually, which makes the layered look neater since I don’t have to worry about the button down bunching up or…

Curved Hem Cable Knit
Back to a cold snap this week and a blizzard on the way! So the sweaters are back in full force this week. My favorite kind of sweater is cable knit and I love that there are so many different looks to cable knit. Design and detail varies, width of the cable knit braids are all different, and more. As I have a handful of these beloved knit sweaters, I’m always looking for ones that are a bit different. When I saw this v-neck cable knit sweater with a curved hem, I knew I found something different. This Sonoma Goods For Life blue sweater is lightweight, soft, and really lovely. The…

Cable Knit + Blanket Scarf
If you read my post yesterday (my photo challenge response), then you know the weather has been wacky in my neck of the woods all winter. With the wacky weather, it can be tricky figuring out what to wear. Enter the blanket scarf – a wardrobe piece loved by many. While blanket scarves are usually associated with staying warm and cozy, they can be very versatile. For instance, you could wear one as a oversized scarf or wrapped around you like a shawl when it’s chilly out, but not so cold that you absolutely need a coat. Then, if it warms up during the day, you can take it off and stuff…
