Book Review: New Year’s Day

Monica Murphy released another Lancaster novella during the holidays, New Year’s Day, and I didn’t have a chance to read it before New Year’s and just read it earlier this week. So I thought since today is Lunar New Year, I could get away with posting about it today!

The novella reunites us with the Lancasters. A bunch of them are spending New Year’s at Whit and Summer’s home along with their kids. A snowstorm sweeps in and the party ends up being just family since their guests can’t make it.

This was a fun read and I always love reading bonus stories and bonus content for books I love. This isn’t a crucial book to read to understand the series, but it’s just a fun read to revisit favorite characters. The novella is told from multiple POVs like Summer, Wren, Crew, etc. and some of their kids like Iris and Willow!
