Book Review: I’ll Always Be With You

Lancaster Prep book #4 read! I’ll Always Be With You is 4th book in the series by Monica Murphy and I really enjoyed reading Carolina and West’s story.

Carolina is the younger sister to Whit (Things I Wanted to Say) and Sylvie (Promises We Meant to Keep) and cousin to Crew (A Million Kisses In Your Lifetime). Carolina is a ballet dancer and she used her love and passion for dance to get her parents to let her live in London from the time she was 12 or 13 to dance and be away from her fighting parents and crazy mother. When she’s 18, she is dancing in a show at the opera house in Paris when she meets Weston Fontaine, heir to an old and extremely successful champagne house. She has no idea who he is, except can tell he’s an American prep school boy. But, he knows exactly who she is. He goes to Lancaster Prep and knows of Carolina. After spending one fun night together, they part and never expect to see each other again. Little do they know after that summer night together, Carolina’s parents would force her to come back to the States and spend her senior year at Lancaster. Now she has to see West every day. They both want each other, but don’t want to admit it.

The book is split in to two parts. Part 1 is when they’re in prep school together senior year and their evolving relationship and developing complicated feelings for each other. Part 2 takes place 2 years later when Carolina and West cross paths again as young adults. Can Carolina forgive West for his two year absence? Can West win her back after breaking her heart?

I really liked this book and loved Carolina and West. It was interesting to see them together as teenagers and then again as young adults. They are only 20 in Part 2, but in these types of books it always seem these ultra wealthy kids act way more grown up than in real life. Anyway, I loved the two of them together and seeing how they developed as people and fell for each other!

Read this if you want a spicy billionaire prep school, second chance romance.
