Book Review: A Million Kisses in Your Lifetime

If you’re in the mood for a book that’s like a r-rated/new adult Gossip Girl, then you need to check out A Million Kisses in Your Lifetime by Monica Murphy.

This boarding school romance is a dual POV and follows Wren Beaumont and Crew Lancaster, both seniors at Lancaster Prep. Crew’s family is ridiculously wealthy and own the school. Wren’s family is also very rich, but not Lancaster rich. The two have known each other since freshman year, but have never really spoken. Wren is the “good girl” of the school with steadfast morals and a promise ring. Something about her annoys Crew. Crew is popular, good looking, a little bit of a “bad boy” and all the girls want him. Wren is intimidated by Crew. She avoids making eye contact with him, because he’s always giving her smoldering looks that make her uncomfortable.

When their psychology teacher assigns a project to the class and pairs the two of them up, they’re forced to get to know one another for real. It doesn’t take long for them to realize they actually have a lot more in common then they or anyone realized. Soon, they know each other better than anyone else and can’t fight their chemistry and feelings for each other.

This was really entertaining and I was hooked from the start. If you’re in the mood for a teenage angsty, spicy, prep school romance then this one was a good one!
