January 2022 Favorites
It’s the last day of January, which means we’re a month in to 2022. Did it go by fast or slow for you?
I’ve got a bunch of favorites from this month so let’s get started.
First, I watched the Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts special on HBOMax and it was everything. I loved reminiscing over the films and seeing behind the scenes and the conversations between the actors.
One of the Christmas gifts I got from my best friend was a gift card to Pandora. She knew I wanted a thumb ring, but neither of us could figure out the size of my thumb, so she gave me a gift card and I went to the mall and picked out a ring. I decided on a colorful stack of rings with a horseshoe charm.

My next favorite is Jimmy Fallon’s new game show, That’s My Jam. It’s so funny. It’s a music themed competition show featuring two teams of celebrities doing different musical challenges for charity.
Another show I loved this month is The Witcher. I’ve been wanting to watch it on Netflix for a long time and with season 2 premiering last month, I decided to finally get into it. I loved it! I watched both seasons and now I have to wait forever for season 3 since they haven’t even started filming it yet.

Recently, I wrote about the 3 floor candy store I went to at the American Dream Mall. In my little goodie bag, I bought some Jordan Almonds. I know some people hate them, but I am a fan. I went through my little stash and needed more so I bought a container at the grocery store.

Another post I recently wrote was about my page overlays for A Court of of Thorns and Roses. They are so gorgeous!

Taylor Swift’s “I Bet You Think About Me” came out over 2 months ago, but for some reason I could not stop listening to it this month. It’s so good!
Lastly, I’m trying to be more bookish on here and on social media since that’s the kind of content I’m most drawn to these days. Of course, I do my book reviews, writing updates, and random book related posts on here, but I’m going to try to incorporate more of my “just for fun” reading on here. A book I finished this month that I really liked was They Both Die At the End. In the novel, deaths are predicted. Everyone who is going to die gets a phone call informing them that it is their last day to live. You don’t know how you’re going to die or when – it could be 5 minutes after the phone call or 20 hours later. There are lots of social apps for people who are dying such as one to connect you to another person dying. The novel follows Rufus and Mateo, two teenage boys who are both going to die that day. They are total opposites, but connect and decide to help each other do all that they want to do on their last day on Earth. Even though I knew how it would end from the title, it was still shocking and sad. It’s definitely a novel that will stick with me!

That’s it for my January favorites! What are some things you loved this month?
