Book Review: The City of Dating
The City of Dating is a memoir by Stevie Bowen and a really quick and entertaining read about her experiences dating in New York City.

Each chapter highlights an experience she had starting from moving to the city for college and then in the years post-college. All her stories were entertaining even if they didn’t all have happy endings. It was a very honest and thoughtful take on her experiences. While all of her stories take place in the city and dating in a different city or in the suburbs etc. would be different, I think everyone can relate in some way to Stevie’s stories.
It’s easy to become jaded or bitter after some dating disasters, but I really liked that Stevie used all her experiences as learning experiences to know what she likes/dislikes and wants/doesn’t want for her future. It’s hopeful for the future, which is always something you want in a memoir about dating!
