Book Review: Forced Bonds
I finished the 4th book in The Bonds that Tie series by J. Bree – Forced Bonds this week!

Forced Bonds picks up where Blood Bonds left off. Oli and her bonds (North, Gryphon, Gabe, Atlas, and Nox) are now in the Sanctuary – the secret community for the gifted that the Dravens have been building for a long time – now that their home and community has been attacked by the Resistance. Oli continues to bond with her bonds and they are growing more powerful. But even in their secret community, spies lurk and even those they can trust have been manipulated by powerful neuros to betray them without knowing. Oli and her bonds continue to work to find out how the Resistance is getting into the minds of people in the Sanctuary from afar. And the hunt to get the leader of the Resistance continues.
I really liked this book as I love this whole universe, but it wasn’t my favorite of the series so far. Some developments occur, but not a whole lot happens so even though a few things happen to advance the story/series it felt more like filler. The book does end on a big cliffhanger so I’m really looking forward to reading the next one!
