Porto – Game of Thrones Vibes

I’m doing another throwback post today and sharing 2 photos from my sunset river cruise in Porto, Portugal. When we were cruising along, one of my cousins pointed out two buildings across the river from each other. One was all grey stone and had a castle-like wall looking very medieval and fortress-y. Across the river was a white building with a dome-like structure and looked bright with lots of lights. We realized it looked like Winterfell on one side and King’s Landing from Game of Thrones on the other!

Isn’t that so cool and funny at the same time? And what makes it even better is that they are directly across the river from each other so it’s not like we saw them at totally different times down the river. I wonder how many other people have had the same thought!
