Chocolate Cake + The Reluctant Bride

I’m not a big sweets person but I do sometimes get a craving for chocolate cake. That made me think about guilty pleasures. Two guilty pleasures of mine are chocolate cake and the arranged marriage/marriage of convenience trope which works out because I just started The Reluctant Bride which is the first book in the Wedded Bliss series by Monica Murphy. It’s a spinoff series from the Lancaster series as the fmc is Charlotte Lancaster (Crew’s sister) and her arranged marriage to Perry Constantine.

I made that viral 3 ingredient chocolate cake that’s been making its way around the internet since I’m on a low carb, low sugar diet. It uses an apple as the sweetener. It was not good so I don’t recommend it, but if you make it and it works for you let me know! I actually took this photo, put the spoonful from this photo in my mouth and had to spit it out haha. But, nonetheless I’m sharing this photo since theoretically chocolate cake is one of my guilty pleasures.
