Christmas Notch Series – Funny Lines

I recently finished reading the Christmas Notch series by Sierra Simone and Julie Murphy and when I was thinking of what kind of wrap up post I wanted to do for this holiday romcom series I thought I’d pick out a funny line for each book. And there are a lot of funny lines to choose from considering it’s a romcom series that focus on former boyband members and current adult film stars and/or people who work in the adult film industry.

• A Merry Little Meet Cute – (while filming a movie) “My dear Felicity,’ I said in an elevated english accent, ‘I have loved you since you came crashing into my ballroom wearing your strange clothes. I have loved you since you brought me back to your time and made me try chili cheese fries.”
• Snow Place Like LA – “You always knew they meant business when that little loop was pulled up around the heel. It was like a sport mode for crocs.”
• A Holly Jolly Ever After – “Winnie’, Addison said. ‘You know I support your choices – even when you do completely unhinged things like star in a sexy Santa Claus biopic – but can it really hurt to hear what he has to say? At the very least, you have to turn your phone back on. You’ve missed, like, twenty wordles and it’s really stressing me out.”
• A Jingle Bell Mingle – “We’ll have to talk to them,’ I explained carefully. ‘And then they’ll talk to us. And then we’ll try to leave. But they’ll keep talking. Do you see it now? The horror?”
