Reading on a Christmas Lights Trolley Tour

I just spent a long weekend in St. Augustine, Florida and am heading home today. On Saturday night we went on a Christmas Lights Trolley Tour for Nights of Lights. I had heard that St. Augustine is beautiful especially during the holidays and that there is a trolley tour to see some of the lights during the holidays. The lights were in deed beautiful, but it’s so extremely busy in St. Augustine especially during the holidays so the trolley was stuck in traffic for most of the ride. It’s a shame because the traffic really took away from the experience and made it less enjoyable. But anyway, the lights were pretty. When I knew we would be going on this trolley tour I thought it would be a funny idea to take a video of me reading a book instead of enjoying the festive sights and the video came out so perfect and funny. I’ll be posting it on my Instagram today so keep an eye out for it!

Towards the end of the trolley ride when we hadn’t moved in a while, the driver said we could be stuck for 15 minutes or 45 so if we wanted to get off early we could. We did and so many others did too! Despite the traffic, the lights were pretty and it was nice to extend the Christmas cheer for a little longer.
