Date With a Book: Chocolate Peanut Butter Dates + Current Read

A couple months ago I tried out the viral chocolate peanut butter date snack/dessert and I loved them. They’re easy to make and a great healthy sweet treat! It’s been a while since I’ve done a currently reading post so I thought it would be a cute idea to do a “date with a book” type post featuring the chocolate peanut butter dates and my current read.

To make this snack you’ll need Medjool dates, peanut butter, chocolate chips, and peanuts. First, you’ll pit the dates and then flatten/smash them down a little with a glass. Then, spread some peanut butter on each one. Melt some chocolate chips with a little oil or coconut oil and you can either dunk the dates or just spread chocolate over them. I spread the chocolate. Then, I sprinkle some chopped peanuts on top. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to get the chocolate to set and that’s it!

And the physical book I’m currently reading is Beg, Borrow, or Steal – the third book in the Rome, Kentucky series by Sarah Adams! I’m loving it so far!
