Jockey’s Ridge Sand Dunes

I’m almost at the end of my vacation in the Outer Banks, but I still have a bunch of content to share! Early on in the week, we went to Jockey’s Ridge State Park to walk up the sand dunes and see the sunset. These sand dunes are supposedly the tallest ones on the east coast! It was a bit of a hike to get up there, but it was really cool. Unfortunately, it got cloudy so we didn’t have a nice view of the sunset but it was still an experience. We saw groups of people flying kites, we could see the view of the bay from the top of the sand dunes, and behind us we could see some of the houses and towns.

It was really fun to see and felt l like I was in a different world!
