Red & White Striped Ruffled Dress

As I write this, I’m back from Kyoto and back in my hotel room in Tokyo. If you read my post yesterday then you know about the air conditioning debacle and I’m happy to say that day 2 in Kyoto was much better! Still the weekend in Kyoto was a whirlwind. I loved the sites I saw and soaking up some of the historical, cultural, and religious sites, but it was tiring for sure. I will write about day 2 in Kyoto for tomorrow’s post.

Today is just a quick post sharing this red and white striped t-shirt dress with ruffled trim on the arms. I wore it the other day for day 1 in Kyoto. Thankfully it’s a loose fitting dress because I was sweating up a storm!

The dress is so comfy and I love the ruffled/fluttery sleeves. It was one of my last minute purchases before vacation and I’m so happy I got it! I paired the dress with navy blue slip ons for the day, but halfway through the day I changed in to flip flops because the backs were rubbing against my heels too much! And considering I was walking all day in the 100 degree heat, I wanted to be as comfortable as possible!

By the way, these photos were taken in my hotel lobby in Tokyo. Isn’t it pretty?!
