Our Perfect Storm Quote

I’m on a quote roll lately. Yesterday, I shared a quote I love from Rites of the Starling and today I’m sharing one I love from Carley Fortune’s Our Perfect Storm.

There’s a part where Frankie thinks her ex broke up with her because of the “ugly parts” of her – that maybe there were parts of her personality that he found ugly. George, her best friend, says something to her that I think is one of the most important quotes of the novel.

“There are no ugly parts. Some of them are louder than others. Some might be vicious when provoked. But they’re all you. They’re all worthy of love.”

Ugh, George is so perfect!
