Rites of the Starling Quote

One of my favorite quotes in Rites of the Starling by Devney Perry is when Odessa is talking to her stepmother and her stepmother makes note of how much Odessa has changed and that it’s Ransom’s influence and Odessa agrees.

“Yes, it is. He makes me better. Stronger. Braver. Happier. He doesn’t ask me to blend into the walls or change the color of my hair. He sees me for me.”

I love this quote and exchange between the two women. Counting down the days until the next book!
