Copycat Pizza Hut Breadsticks
When I was in elementary school, Pizza Hut used to do this thing called “Book It” – I think that’s what it was called anyway. You had a chart to record your daily reading amounts and when you completed the chart you could bring it in to Pizza Hut for a free personal pan pizza. It was my favorite thing! So aside from the delicious supreme personal pan pizza I would get, my family would always get an order of the breadsticks. I love the Pizza Hut breadsticks. I can probably count on one hand the amount of times I’ve been to Pizza Hut in the last 5 years on one hand…

Lemon Chicken Orzo Soup
Okay, I know it’s not exactly soup weather here with it being in the 90s and forecasted to reach 100 this weekend, but if you’re in the mood for comfort food then this soup is for you! Years ago, my favorite soup at Panera was the Lemon Chicken Orzo Soup and I would order it every time I went. And then, of course, they took it off the menu. Didn’t they know it was my favorite item on the menu?! Anyway, I found a copycat recipe that tastes really good so I thought I would share it on here. I basically followed the recipe linked above, but the only changes…

Copycat Taco Bell Quesadillas
I love copycat recipes for things I like to eat at restaurants. That includes fast food. I don’t go to Taco Bell often, but when I do I often get their chicken quesadillas. They’re so good! Part of the reason I love them is the sauce, so I was so happy to find a copycat recipe. It’s a good one so I had to share with you all! I used this recipe (here). The changes I made were that I used rotisserie chicken instead of grilling my own and since I was using smaller sized tortillas, I used 2 per quesadilla (sandwiching them) instead of folding them over. I also…

Bang Bang Shrimp
Whenever I go to Bonefish Grill, I always order the Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer. It’s so good! So, of course, I had to look up a copycat recipe and this one is a great version! There are 3 parts to the recipe. You’ll need to make the sauce, mix together the breading, and fry the shrimp. For the sauce, you’ll need: 1/2 cup mayonnaise 1-2 tablespoons of hot sauce (I used Tobasco) 1/3 cup sweet chili sauce 1 teaspoon rice vinegar Once the sauce is all mixed together, I put it in the refrigerator. After cleaning your shrimp, put together your ingredients for dredging. You’ll need 1/2 cup of cornstarch in…

Toasted Ravioli
I love finding copycat recipes of restaurants dishes I like. A few weeks ago I decided to try this Toasted Ravioli one out which is a copycat for the Olive Garden appetizer. It is easy because it’s semi-home made as I used store-bought frozen ravioli. The sauce was homemade, but it was leftover sauce that I had so that cut some time too. You’ll need ravioli – I used spinach & cheese, flour, eggs, and Italian bread crumbs. The recipe I found calls for garlic salt, bread crumbs, oregano and basil, or you could just use Italian bread crumbs, which I think basically has all those ingredients. I coated the ravioli with…

Mongolian Beef
I love looking for copy cat recipes of things I enjoy eating out. I don’t go to PF Chang’s often at all – I think I’ve gone maybe 4 or 5 times ever in my life. But the few times I have gone, I’ve gotten the Mongolian Beef and always really enjoy it. I found this copycat recipe at Blissfully Delicious via Pinterest. I pretty much followed that recipe except I didn’t use as much beef as called for. The only pictures I didn’t include were when I coated the raw flank steak in cornstarch and when I refried the beef in the sauce in the wok cause I had to…
