    I Finally Saw Coco

If you know me, you know I love movies and tv. I pride myself in being well versed in a variety of genres. When I was looking at this article about the 50 Best Movies on Netflix Right Now I had seen a good handful of them, but there were a few I hadn’t seen. One being Coco. The Disney movie Coco came out 2 years ago and I just watched it for the first time last night. I know – super late to the game. I love Disney movies and pretty much everything Disney. So why did I wait so long to watch this well-loved movie? To be honest, I was…

    Love & Mickey Mouse Top

Over the summer Uniqlo launched their Love & Mickey Mouse capsule collection. I’m not sure if the collection is still launching pieces, but I was in Uniqlo last week and there were still Disney pieces. I may or may not have picked up a couple tees. But, that’s neither here nor there. Like I was saying, over the summer the collection launched and when I saw a preview online the brightly colored, multicolor Mickey on a black 3/4 sleeve top immediately grabbed my attention. I needed this top! The problem was it was only going to be available at select Uniqlo stores and the online release date was when I…

Disney Vacation – Day 4: Magic Kingdom

I can’t believe it’s 2018! That just sounds crazy! I’ve been away the past week and arriving back home on New Year’s Eve really has me turned around. Yesterday didn’t feel like New Year’s Eve since I was traveling so today being New Year’s day feels a bit weird. But anyway, on to today’s post. The other day, I mentioned that Magic Kingdom is indeed magical. The most magical of all the Disney parks, in my opinion. So on Friday, we spent the entire day at Magic Kingdom. It was our last Disney day as the following day I’d be going to Universal, purely for the Wizarding World of Harry…

Disney Vacation Day 3: Magic Kingdom & Epcot

If you’ve been to Disney World and especially if you’re fan I think you’ll understand what I mean when I say there’s a certain feeling of magic and wonder when you first walk through the gates of Magic Kingdom. It is the happiest place on earth after all! The music starts right away, the decorations are everywhere and you make your way to Main Street which feels like a dream world with the iconic Cinderella Castle greeting you at the end of the street. On Day 3 we spent a few hours at Magic Kingdom before spending the rest of the day at Epcot. We didn’t have any FastPasses for…

Disney Vacation Day 2: Animal Kingdom & Hollywood Studios

On Day 2 of my Christmas vacation to Disney World, we went to both Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. I haven’t been to either of these parks in years so it was nice to return. The last time I was near Animal Kingdom it was a few years ago for lunch at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, but I wasn’t at the actual park. And the last time I was at Hollywood Studios was when I was a freshman in college, I believe, and that was quite a number of years ago. The parks are always being updated and new things being added. This year Pandora – the Avatar section –…

Disney Vacation Day 1: Disney Springs

As some of you may already know, I’m in Orlando this week for Christmas vacation! I’ve been posting a ton on my Instagram stories with all that I’ve been up to. My family and I flew down to Atlanta on Christmas day and spent Christmas day with my family that lives there. Then, the next day we all drove down to Orlando to spend a few days in Disney and one day at Universal. After a long drive, our first evening was spent at Disney Springs to walk around and get dinner. Disney Springs is so much nicer and classier than when I came back in high school and college.…

    Daydreamer Muscle Tank

“All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.”  – Walt Disney Last weekend I wrote about this “Namaslay All Day” cold shoulder tee I picked up at Macy’s over the summer. During that same shopping trip I picked up this Minnie Mouse muscle tank that I thought was really cute. Tank Top: Macy’s | Camisole: LOFT | Shorts: Express | Flip Flops: Old Navy This daydreamer top with a print of Minnie daydreaming and the confetti texture is so cute and perfect for those casual days at home. I wore a lace camisole underneath since muscle tanks have those big arm holes and I’m…

    Beauty & the Beast

Have you seen Beauty & the Beast yet? I know it just came out this past weekend, but I know a bunch of people who already saw it – myself included! I just couldn’t wait so I had to go after work on Friday. If you follow me on Instagram then you might already know that I absolutely loved the movie. I had high expectations for this movie and I am happy to report that not only did the movie meet my expectations but exceeded them. I loved that the movie had the basis of the original animated movie, but fleshed out the characters and background stories more. I really enjoyed the fact…

    Photo Challenge: Wish

I’m so excited that it’s already Friday! Not only did this week fly by since I had 2 snow days, but I’m going to see Beauty & the Beast today after work! I have high expectations and I have a good feeling that they’ll be met. In the spirit of Beauty & the Beast’s opening weekend I decided to channel it in my photo challenge response for “Wish“. 2 spring’s ago, I went to Disney and had breakfast at the Beauty & the Beast castle/restaurant Be Our Guest. In the dining room that was decorated to look like the Beast’s room, there was the iconic magical rose. For anyone familiar with Beauty &…

    Photo Challenge: Symbol

Happy Photo Challenge Friday! For this past week’s challenge from The Daily Post, I decided to go with this fireworks picture for “Symbol”. Fireworks always make me think of summer and are definitely a symbol of summer for me. It makes me think of the 4th of July, barbecues, amusement parks, ball games, concerts, etc. all of which I associate with summer for obvious reasons. This picture was taken at Epcot when I went to Disney in the spring and was taken with my phone. Can you believe it came out that clear?! I always find firework pictures to be tricky and you have to get the timing just right and remember…
