Galaxy’s Edge

I shared some photos from Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland during my travel recaps (day 2 and 3 specificially) but wanted to make a post just about it in case you wanted more details or you skipped my recaps. Plus I’m including a few extra photos in this post.

This was my first time at Galaxy’s Edge, because the lst time I went to Disney World I didn’t go to Hollywood Studios and the last time I was at Hollywood Studios they were still building it. So this was exciting for me! As soon you walk in, just like with Cars Land you are completely immersed in the world and it all feels so real. All the structures and the atmosphere are so realistic and you just feel like you’re living in Star Wars. The Millennium Falcon is huge and such a show stopper.

We rose Smuggler’s Run, which is like an interactive simulation ride where you get a role like pilot or engineer, and Rise of the Resistance which was so fun. I wish I had my phone out during the ride because some of it was so amazing and jaw dropping.

For our food checklist we got the Blue Milk, delicious drinks and a cheesy pretzel snack from Oga’s Cantina, and the Black Caf Cold Brew and Grogu’s Cookies from Docking Bay 7. Oga’s doesn’t take reservations but you can join the walk up list via the Disneyland app. Our wait was only 5 minutes which was amazing. The Blue Milk and items from Docking Bay 7 were all quick service places.

There were some storm troopers walking around and I saw a glimpse of Darth Vader but he was gone before I could snap a pic. I did see Rey walking around though and I vaguely remember seeing Leia but I think I was rushing to a ride or something so I didn’t really register it haha.

I think they do a light show at night which would’ve been really cool to see but we missed it since on the first day we saw some of Fantasmic and then were on rides during the fireworks. The second night we saw the fireworks. And the last night we saw World of Color in DCA. I’ll just have to go back one day and see it!

My cousins and I made a funny reel for Galaxy’s Edge using Sabrina Carpenter’s “House Tour” song. I’m posting it today so be on the lookout for it!
