Velvet Pumpkins
While sharing some fall decor inspo on my Instagram stories I shared velvet pumpkins from Etsy and wanted them for myself! Hazards of sharing sales and inspo. The ones I originally saw, from the same shop, had more fall-like colors with mustard yellows and olive greens, but then I saw this set with more jewel toned colors like the emerald green. Since I doubted I’d be at my new condo by Halloween (and I was right) I thought the richer colors would be better suited for me since they could easily translate in to decor for the rest of the fall season and Thanksgiving as well. The pumpkins are so cute…

Fall in Historic Bethlehem
Last weekend I met up with my friend and her baby in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania to walk around, eat lunch, and catch up. It’s a halfway point for us and two years ago we walked around the Christmas market at the steel stacks in Bethlehem. This time we met up in the downtown, Main St. area which just so happens to be in historic Bethlehem. I only took a few photos, but I thought I’d still share them. The weather was perfect and everything was so nicely decorated for fall. When we walked down the side, residential streets pretty much every home was decorated so cute for fall! So many pretty…

Getting Ready for Fall
Fall has quickly become my favorite season in the past few years. I don’t know why considering I associate fall with summer vacation being over and having to go back to work. However, there’s just something about fall that I love. The crisp, cool air. Apple cider donuts. Breaking out the cozy sweaters. Oh and ushering in the holiday season, of course. Since I’m in a new space (my townhouse), I picked up a few fall decor things. I didn’t want to go overboard with decorating, plus I don’t have the money to! So it was just a few things. First, I got this super cute leaf candle holder from…

Pumpkin Planters
While browsing Pinterest (what else is new) I was looking for a fall decor craft/idea. I saw pumpkins being used as planters which I thought was a brilliant idea and really cute. However, I quickly found out that the one I originally saw was made using a plastic decorative pumpkin and when I tried to search for real pumpkin planters they were either done by real florists and elaborate or hot glued succulents on top of the pumpkin. But I didn’t see a reason why I couldn’t use a real pumpkin as a planter so that’s what I did! I went to my local farmstand and got 2 medium sized…

Fall Wreath DIY
I’m back with a new craft post! If you know me, you know I like to attempt to craft but I’m not amazing at it. That doesn’t stop me though and I think I’ve gotten better and better. If you’ve been following me for a while you may remember last fall when I wrote about my fall door decor. I wrote in that post about how it was really hard to find nice fall door decor because I personally thought so many of the pieces available were not very good looking. I was able to spruce up one I found last year but I wasn’t completely satisfied. So this year, I…

Fall Door Decor
An easy way to decorate for any season or holiday is by putting some decor on your front door. There are so many creative DIY fall wreaths and door decor pieces available online that I’d love to try in the future, but this year I took the easy way out and got a store-bought one. I did, however, tweak it a little bit. First off, can I just say that there are so many fall wreaths and decor pieces that are really not cute looking! I find that so many of them have the fake acorns and they are not good looking acorns in the slightest. Yes, they’re fake acorns but…
