    Aster Market Unboxing: December 2016

As mentioned in last month’s unboxing post, I was really looking forward to the December Aster Market box because last December’s was my favorite. This box is bittersweet because I had been looking forward to it (and it did not disappoint) but it is the last subscription box from the company! They have decided to not continue with monthly subscription boxes but will still be selling pre-curated boxes as well as allowing customers to put together their own boxes. Aster Market Unboxing: November 2016

Aster Market Box  leads us into the cold winter months and holiday season with its contents in this month’s box. Keep reading to find out was in the box! There are multiple die in this baggie with different things such…

Somehow it’s already May. With a new month comes a new Aster Market box so let’s get right into it! There were 3 items in this month’s box. First up, a tea towel from Mirdinara Kitchen. I love how colorful this tea towel is. The illustration is hand drawn and the print is hand silk screened in India using dye from native plants and minerals. Next up, a rustic serving board from Dominik Woods. When I took this picture I didn’t realize it was a little blurry and not completely in focus, but you get the idea! This serving board is small and dainty and has a nice weight to it.…

    Photo Challenge: Admiration

It’s been raining all week, which has made me feel extra tired and is definitely not the fun spring weather I’d like to be experiencing! This week has been Teacher Appreciation Week (if you didn’t know, I’m a teacher), which is fitting for this week’s photo challenge from The Daily Post, “Admiration”. There’s no one person in particular that I admire – I admire many people, that I do and don’t know personally. I have admiration for people who are strong and endure everything that life throws at them. I have admiration for people who are able to make their dreams come true. The list goes on. For this photo…
